Asystems introduces a new model to its switcher lineup, the AV500HD Compact Switcher with a built-in audio mixer and frame synchronizer. Equipped with a variety of standard interfaces, the AV500HD can accept sources from SDI and HDMI inputs, plus 2 AUX outputs, this switcher can be easily integrated into a wide-range of production systems.

Designed to be simple with intuitive operability, the inclusion of the on board touch screen panel of the AV500HD reduces the learning curve time and provides ideal functionality for a wide range of small live production applications. In addition, this user-friendly switcher has many preset DME wipe patterns, PIP, a built-in Multiview Monitor, the ability to import still images via SDHC slot, a 12-channel audio mixer, and more.





7″ Touch Screen Panel

The on board 7” capacitive touch monitor with 1024 x 600 ppi simplifies the traditional control interface for a more clear and intuitive setting adjustment and operation. Just a few simple touches, you can manipulate video effects, audio mixes whilst monitor the video input and output sources all at the same time!

12-Channel Audio Mixer

For applications such as making music videos and multi-lingual programming, the AV500HD supports 100 effects with delay control and eight-channel audio assignable from any input. An excellent audio delay adjustment function is also provided for lip synchronization.

A Complete Set of Video Switcher Control

On top of the 7” capacitive touch screen panel, AV500HD retains the button configuration that you’d expect from a video switcher, everything from channel cross-point buttons, preset memories, manual T-bar to wipe patterns are still intact, so that you can enjoy the new fluid control of the touch screen panel and still have the solid mechanical control you are accustomed to.

DSK (Downstream Keying) Operations

The AV500HD’s DSK or downstream key gives you the ability to mix and fade signals behind keyed lyrics or graphics. With this feature, you can overlay logos, texts and subtitles onto the existing picture to produce videos that are high quality and professional.

Seminars and Live Events

A video setup for seminars or live speeches requires a certain amount of forethought. When you need to handle several cameras and route between different signals across multiple angles, an AV500HD will come in very handy, especially if you want to record the session or broadcast it later via a streaming service.

The on board touch screen panel of the AV500HD is easy to use and intuitively simple to use, it greatly reduces the learning curve while increase the productivity. The audio mixer is yet another excellent addition for multiple audio sources and effects to be mixed into the video. Corporate Training and Educational Facilities

The AV500HD’s HDMI input and output with multi-format support allows you to freely mix computer and video sources and output to a wide range of displays and devices, making it a perfect choice for corporate training and seminars, and educational facilities.

In the case of a presentation that requires multiple video sources, such as a camera, laptop PowerPoint, DVR playback, the AV500HD accepts multiple video inputs and DVE processing, such as downstream keying, and picture-in-picture (PIP), allow you to combine live video of the presenter along with PIP graphics display and text. The on board recording facility of the AV500HD lets you record presentations etc. for later broadcast or DVD distribution.
